Climate change is going to get worse, but as gloomy as the latest scientific reports are, including today's from the United Nations, scientist after scientist stresses that curbing global warming is not hopeless.
Getting the finance industry to think longer-term is critical to addressing the climate crisis, Inger Andersen, executive director of the U.N. Environment Programme says.
'We need to catch up on the years in which we procrastinated,' said UNEP's Inger Andersen. 'If we do not do this, the 1.5°C goal will be out of reach before 2030.'
